1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website, placing online food orders, booking table reservations, or logging into our Loyalty rewards program at Zaika Waterloo ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using this website and our services.
2. User Accounts & Third-Party Authentication
You may create an account or sign in using email or third-party authentication services, including Google Sign-In:
- Authentication: When authenticating via Google, you authorize us to retrieve your verified email and name to establish or access your loyalty profile.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and device access. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
- Termination & Revocation: You may disconnect third-party sign-in at any time via your Google security settings, or request account termination by contacting our support team.
3. Online Ordering, Pricing & Payments
We provide online food ordering for pickup, takeout, and delivery:
- Currency & Taxes: All menu prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable Harmonized Sales Tax (HST).
- Payment Processing: Online orders are processed through encrypted payment gateways (Square API). We accept credit cards, debit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
- Delivery Zone: Delivery is restricted to addresses within our designated restaurant delivery perimeter. Orders outside the delivery radius cannot be fulfilled for delivery and must be switched to takeout/pickup.
4. Cancellations, Modifications & Refunds
Because our dishes are prepared fresh to order:
- Cancellations: Order cancellations or modifications can only be made by calling the restaurant immediately before food preparation begins. Once the kitchen has started preparing an order, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- Quality Guarantee: If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us immediately upon pickup or delivery so we can review the issue and issue a suitable remedy or refund.
5. Table Reservations
Table reservations placed online are held for up to 15 minutes past the reserved start time. If your party is delayed, please notify the restaurant via phone. We reserve the right to release tables to waiting guests in the event of unnotified late arrivals.
6. Loyalty Points & Rewards
Loyalty points are awarded on eligible online orders and can be redeemed for checkout discounts. Points are personal, non-transferable, possess no independent monetary cash value, and may be adjusted or updated with reasonable notice.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
